I'm a mountaineer (7 times Mount Everest, K2, etc.), paragliding pilot, runner and all out adventurer. In 2017 I participated in MDS. I was ready to run again in 2022 but, while at the first bivouac and waiting for the checks, I got news that my father had been in an accident and needed surgery urgently. He and my mother were caring for my wife who was 8 months pregnant. I had to leave the bivouac immediately and I was able to reach minutes before my father's surgery. I don't regret my decision and I'm happy to be going back to Morocco again this year. I'm running to support The Live Love Laugh Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to supporting people going through depression and mental health issues. The Foundation is based in India but it's online resources have global reach.
