Few words about yourself:

Husband and wife, Michael & Pamela Craig, will both be taking on MDS in 2018. Pamela will be undertaking a "trio of events" in 2017 and 2018, culminating with the Marathon Des Sables in 2018. Pamela has already successfully completed the London Marathon in April 2017 and will compete in another marathon or triathlon event before MDS. Michael will also undertake a "trio of events" in 2017 and 2018, with MDS 2018 the pinnacle. In August 2017, Michael completed an "everesting" of Toys Hill in Brasted, Kent which included 63 repetitions over a 25-hour period to achieve the height of Everest (8848m). Michael achieved 9006m.

In September 2017, Michael battled cold weather and fog to complete Revolve 24, a 24-hour solo endurance cycling event at Brands Hatch, registering just over 400km. GOSH is very personal to us… In the summer of 2010 our daughter was diagnosed with Cushings and spent a number of months under the care of Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. After a successful operation to remove a large tumour, Sophie was released and returned home the day before her second birthday. We will be forever grateful to GOSH, its staff and the care provided to Sophie, with special mention going to Dr Caroline Brain from the Endocrinology unit.
