Walter has been running since middle school, and started trail running about fifteen years ago. "Since then, I haven't stopped, I love to surpass myself, to go far in my body and in my head. As a good Breton, Walter participated in the Ultra Marin, the toughest race he has done so far, which he got out of in 29 hours. His strong point in difficult times: “I tend not to let go, and then I find pleasure in what I do. »

At the MARATHON DES SABLES, Walter will have a lot of unknowns to deal with, starting with the trip: “I have never been to the desert, or even to another country, this will be my first great adventure. “And then on site, like many others, it is the management of food that concerns the most our Breton, with the fear, obviously, of abandonment…

But Walter's motivation is very strong, he hopes above all to go to the end of the adventure, to come back with great memories, and to find answers to certain personal questions. And then this MDS will also be a form of tribute: “I experienced 7 deaths of relatives in 2022, so I want to go all the way to pay tribute to these people. »
