I am a visually impaired runner from Hong Kong. I lost my sight overnight 10 years ago for I was a victim of Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) since my childhood. Multiple blows had followed unstoppably in my life after that: unemployed, breaking up with my girlfriend that time who had been dating with me for 10 years...etc.

I had been dispirited for two years and gained plenty of weight, relying on alcohol little by little to forget the troubles. But I switched my thoughts away since I finally realized that I am luckier than those who have not even been given an opportunity to help others 8 years ago.

Since then, I decided to run and try to fundraise for different NGOs. Last time I fundraising for Mother's choice by running from Beijing to Hong Kong in 35 days, and this time I hope to fundraise for Hong Kong Unison, the NGO fights for local ethnic minorities' equal right by joining the MARATHON DES SABLES.
