Longer, sandier, more elevation: the second stage of the 38th MARATHON DES SABLES LEGENDARY goes up a notch in difficulty. It will plunge the 838 starters into the heart of the South Moroccan Sahara.

The second stage of the 38TH MARATAHON DES SABLES LEGENDARY can be divided into two large parts: a first half that is generally uphill and sandy, and a second half that is flater and on harder ground. Sandy climbs and descents, gorges and reliefs follow one another until km 19. Then comes a long crossing of the dry lake, an immense whitish expanse where mirages can play a few tricks. Finally, a rocky pass leads the participants to the final plateau, initially sandy, then more buoyant. The finale is a long straight line of more than 8 km.
