THIS IS A CALL TO ACTION FOR MOROCCO

Morocco has been hosting the MARATHON DES SABLES for 38 years. Today, the country has been hit by a devastating earthquake.

This is a call to action.

Future MDS and HMDS participants have a mission to turn every kilometer into a step towards reconstruction.

Our goal is ambitious: raising 1 million euros to bring significant aid to thousands of children, women, men and families in distress.

How? It's simple. We'll launch a website where you can collect donations.

It will be possible to follow the donations progress live and how they are used. 100% of donations will go to the MARATHON DES SABLES association and will be used for charitable purposes.

This French non-profit association will define the actions to be done and control the use of donations.

The MDS and HMDS organization will cover all the costs related to the operation, ensuring that every euro collected is a euro invested in charity.

To reach this goal, the participants challenge is to raise 10 euros for each kilometer you complete: 120 km for the HMDS, 240 km for the MDS.

It's not a race, it's a quest, at the truest sense of the word. We count on you to share it massively with your family, friends and contacts.
