STAGE 4 : A SANDY MARATHON

The fourth stage of the 38th MARATHON DES SABLES LEGENDARY takes on a different profile: its 43.1km of mostly sandy terrain is not to be taken lightly.

Participants in the 38th LEGENDARY MARATHON DES SABLES have a slightly longer distance than the marathon to tackle today: 43.1 km with 390 metres of ascent. The first ten kilometres are undoubtedly the easiest, on stable and relatively hard ground. After that, sandy djebels follow on from dune strips, scattered dunes and sandy wadis. A few kilometres of respite will separate these different difficulties. Once again, the scenery is sublime.
