Félix RADU (D459-BEL)

"The desire to feel alive"

It is far from the sands of Morocco that Félix RADU was born, since he is from Belgium, even if he now lives in Paris. Author and actor, Félix is much more comfortable on a theater stage, playing with the French language, than in a wadi or on a djebel to advance under a scorching sun. About a year ago, at the age of 26, a victim of eating disorders, Félix was not really in top form: "A year ago, I decided to hire a sports coach and a nutritionist to help gain weight and improve my physical condition. I wanted to feel beautiful, good in my body and above all to take care of my work tool as an actor. "

We can say that this decision was crowned with success, since today Félix is largely plumped up and will be present at the start of the 37th edition of the MARATHON DES SABLES. Indeed, when his coach spoke to him about the MDS and offered to participate in it together, the actor answered yes without thinking too much: "Having always liked sport and surpassing oneself, I immediately answered yes. , without even knowing the distance to be traveled, nor the effort that would be required to participate. Above all, the desire to see landscapes, stars, and feel alive! "

The one who has been nicknamed "The little prince of humor" by the media knows how to handle the double meaning, since he will participate in the MDS as an ambassador for the association Le Petit Prince, which aims to realize the dreams of seriously ill children. And perhaps even the triple meaning: “This journey in the desert echoes greatly with the work and the initiatory journey of this plane pilot stranded in the dunes. Saint-Exupéry of course, author of The Little Prince. The circle is complete – finally it will be on April 29, on the finish line of the 37th MARATHON DES SABLES…
