But the young Breton is not just a spectator: he played football for a long time, and now devotes himself to running. “Sport seems essential to me in daily life. Beyond the physical training and all the health benefits, sport allows me to decompress and does me a lot of good psychologically. “ Hugo particularly enjoys being surrounded by nature, and trail running is the perfect activity for this, particularly in the region where he lives, Lake Guerlédan.

Hugo has already participated in a few events, but for the moment he has not set himself a major challenge: the MARATHON DES SABLES will be the first! “The MDS represents much more than a challenge, it’s going to be the challenge of my life… This bib brings me so much pride! This is a golden opportunity that I might only get once in my life. It is a unique and rare experience. “ It is therefore with enormous motivation that Hugo is preparing, however well aware that he will have to take it step by step, not to get burned, during the preparation as well as on the field.

Surrounded by his family, especially his father who also runs, Hugo hopes to meet great people on the legendary desert event, and to live the adventure to the fullest, from start to finish: “I hope to manage to experience the race in its entirety . I admit that there is work to be done because I am not used to running in heat like that of Morocco, especially for a Breton!“
